What are link Cloaking, Link Spams, Gate way Pages:

Cloaking:
Cloak is word which is use in English to show the meaning of a dress which is big then the size of person wearing it. So cloaking is a technique in black hate SEO to show a low quality resource as a best quality resource, in other words only to trick the search engine
Actually Cloaking is a bait, and switch technique, mean feeding two content to different visitors. The html page presents the human visitor a different version of web page and to crawler a complete different code to artificially inflate the ranking and actually fooling the search engine.
I hope a lot of readers will be aware of html, in html there are two parts of website, one is call header the other is call body, normally what ever you place in body is shown on the web page, color, graphics, text etc… that part of web page is designed for human visitors, but a special portion in head, (meta tags) is created for only robots, spiders,
Human don’t see or understand the header of the site because its never visible in graphical view and human vision can’t see that, but spider gives value and rank to the site according to meta tags, so placing rich keywords in meta tags attract more attention of search engines and it increases the value of that particular web resource i.e. when a visitor click on a specific link they are given different content then what actually they searching for. SE detects its totally fooling the visitor and search engine also, as it, they delete that resource from its index,
So remember its not easy to trick the SE. they are smart machines now and the peoples who are running them are PhDs in human behaviors and once they find something against natural human behavior, they will detect it and delete it from there listing.
Link spam:
It is a new Technique which is discovered because of increasing number of spamming on the web, with a particular purpose when pages are setup to take priority of the link based ranking algorithm, a term in google is use page rank, its from the last name of Larry page who is owner of google, so Larry made an algorithm of links so any one want to get a page rank his site will have to pass by that algorithm, in link spamming that algorithm is cheated and same like other methods once its detected you are no where on web. All you’re credibility is vanished.

Gate way pages:
A gate way page s a low quality webpage, having not much information for the human visitor, but only for the sole purpose of making it easy to drive traffic to another resource and to another url. Gate way pages are also call bright page because they connect like a bridge to original resource. Gateway pages are simple to recognize in the way they have been designed principally for search engines not for human beings.
